Welcome

I am glad that you are here exploring options for you or your child’s therapy journey. One of the most important aspects of the therapeutic process is the relationship between the client and therapist. I believe that the relationship we develop impacts the overall outcome of the counseling experience, and your satisfaction with it. My objective is to provide a safe and comfortable space for you to explore your personal experience, and allow room for vulnerability and self-growth.

I provide individual therapy services to adolescents and adults, addressing a variety of issues. Some of the most common areas of concern that I work with include:

I utilize a variety of treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), trauma-focused CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Mindfulness, Strengths-Based and Person Centered Approach. I have also completed ComB training to treat Body-focused repetitive behaviors.

I aim to collaborate with you to cultivate a greater sense of self-awareness of your own experience, and develop techniques to help you feel empowered in the process of working towards your identified goals. As a clinical therapist and a yoga teacher, I find it beneficial to often combine clinical modalities with mindful yoga techniques to create a presence of the entire self for deeper healing. At times, I may interweave self-regulation techniques into our traditional talk therapy sessions to provide a safe space for more fully processing. This is based on each individuals needs/desires. Ultimately, my intention is to provide a unique and personally tailored therapeutic process for each of my clients.

Therapy is both a personal and financial commitment to improve your own experience in the world, as well as your relation to others. My hope is that as you develop more self-compassion, you will also experience more fulfillment in your relation to others as well.

Rates and Payment Information

Rates:

$125 for 45-50 minute therapy session

Payment:

Credit Card, Debit Card, Check, and Cash are accepted forms of payment.

Insurance:

I am an out-of-network provider for most insurance companies.  Upon request, I can provide a billing statement for services that you can submit to your insurance provider.  Depending upon your out-of-network benefits, you may be able to receive a reimbursement of a certain percentage of my fee.  You are responsible for the full fee for services at the time of our appointment.

Prior to our first appointment, I encourage you to contact your insurance provider, if you are interested in using your benefits, in order to determine what your out-of-network benefits are.

Cancellation Policy:

In the event of a cancellation in less than 24 hours, or no show to the scheduled appointment, it will be the obligation of the client to pay for the session in full.
